Sponsored events are a fun way to raise vital funds for CRU. Every year our supporters take to the kitchen/hills/bikes/pianos to do something amazing to support the work in Uganda

Anybody can attempt anything, from a skydive to a sponsored hike, a bike-ride to a marathon or two. We can give you all the details you need, including setting up a JustGiving page to help you raise sponsorship.

CRU Trustees and Friends in May 2026 hiking 30km from Marple to Macclesfield return to celebrate CRU’s 30th Anniversary. The hike raised over £2,000 for our work in Uganda.
Sponsored Hike up Snowdon in Oct 2024 raised enough funds for 47 new school desks and nearly 1,000 text books!
