MARIA’S CARE SCHOOL BUS PROJECT

In 2025, Maria’s Care started to raise money for a much needed School Bus. This will be used to bring children in safely from outlying villages, for school trips and to be rented out as a source of income for the School.

The first fundraising event was the Kagulu Challenge – a sponsored hike on 25th July 2025. A total of 50 pupils and 11 teachers took part hiking 25km from Nsomba up and over Kagulu Rock and on to Lake Kyoga.

Congratulations to all who took part and for UK sponsors. The School Bus is now 75% funded!
